Adopt-a-Highway

unnamed (1)
The Baltimore chapter of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has adopted two highways over in the Baltimore area. One is located in White Marsh (Rt. 43) while the other is in Towson (York Road, near the Towson library). Both are extremely busy streets extending almost a mile. Our youth members volunteer to clean these highways once every month. This has been a regular facet of our local outreach.

This initiative is part of a much larger national program where the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association adopts highways across the nation. In 2008, we reached a total of 50 adopted highways across the nation.
