“…Whosoever killed a person…it shall be as if he had killed all mankind.” (Holy Qur’an, Chapter 5, Verse 33)
Islam teaches that the loss of one life carries the weight of losing all of humanity. It is in this spirit that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Baltimore condemns violence and terrorism, the vessels through which humanity is lost. With heavy hearts, we offer our prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack in San Bernardino. We would like to invite our neighbors and friends – our brothers and sisters in humanity – to join us for a prayer vigil in honor of these fourteen victims. Let us hit pause on our worldly activities for a few hours to come together as people of different faiths to help reinstate a sense of hope, peace, and safety in our country.

I am confused about the invitations I have received for Faiths United Against Hatred since there were emails with three different dates. Can you please clarify. Many thanks.
As-salamu alaykum.Thank you for holding this prayer service. I am sorry that I cannot attend due to a prior family commitment, but I will be there in spirit and in the days to come.
